AZIMY RUZIBOY OGLI

He was born on the 28 of October 1971 in Cho’rnoq village of Turkestan district of Chimkent region (today’s Turkestan region).

After finishing the school named after M.V. Frunze in Cho’rnoq village of Turkestan district in 1989, he studied at Professional College No 6 in the capital of Uzbekistan Tashkent.

In 1990-1991 he served in the Soviet Army in Chernovtsy town in Ukraine and Mar’ina Gorka town of Minsk region of Belorussia. In 1992-1997, he studied at the faculty of Uzbek Philology of the Tashkent State University named after Mirzo Ulugbek.

He had started working at editorials while he was a student. In 1994-1996 he worked as a press-corrector, then Senior corrector at the “Vatanparvar” (Patriot) newspaper of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic fo Uzbekistan, in 1996-1997 – he worked at the “Inson va qonun” (Citizen and law) newspaper and “Hayot va qonun” (Life and law) journal of the Ministry of Justice as a special correspondent.

In 1997-1998 – he was a correspondent at the “Turkestan” newspaper of the Kamolot fund, and in 1998-2000 – he worked as a correspondent, leader of the creative group at the Mulkdor economic weekly newspaper.

When he came back to Uzbekistan after having worked in 2001-2002 at the Mektep publishing house in Almaty city of the Republic of Kazakhstan as an editor and translator, he was arrested to the investigations infirmary of NSS at slander accusations of MSS officers. From 2002 to 2009, nobody gave him a job under pressure of MSS.

From March 2009 to April 2010, Ruziboy worked at the “Sharq ziyosi” (Light of Oriental world) newspaper of the Sharq Publishing Concern initially as a corrector, the a correspondent, executive secretary and was fired due to a set of critical articles he had published in the newspaper. For his own articles, he was interrogated at the cellar of the Main Department of the Internal Affairs of Tashkent city, and was seriously beaten and was so “convicted” to the mental hospital of Tashkent city.

Since February 2012, he is a member of the Management Council and correspondent of the mulkdor.com and bridamlik.info sites of the former Birdamlik PDM, which is now the Birdamlik PDP of Uzbekistan.

In publications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, so far he published almost 500 articles, and over 100 articles in Internet sites; in addition Ruziboy is the transplator of 12 textbooks for Uzbek language education secondary schools in Kazakhstan, including “History of Kazakhstan (grade 5), “History of Kazakhstan (grade 6), “World history” (grade 6), “World history (grade 6), “History of Kazakhstan (grade 10), “World history (grade 11), “Citizen and society” (grade 10), “Citizen and society” (grade 11), “Basics of social knowledge” (grade 10), “Basics of social knowledge” (grade 11), “Geography (grade 10), “Legal studies” (grade 10); editor of over 50 secondary school textbooks. Executive editor of textbooks (The Uzbek language” (grade 10), (The Uzbek literature” (grade 10), (The Uzbek language” (grade 11), (The Uzbek literature” (grade 11).

He is married and has 1 son and 2 daughters.
