The People’s Democratic Movement “Birdamlik” is preparing to celebrate 20th anniversary of the adopting of the Constitution of Uzbekistan solemnly!
We know that the Constitution is the main law of the country which guarantees peace, prosperity and defense of citizens’ rights. But In spite of it, people’s not paying attention to the constitution and carelessness or more of theirs not knowing the laws of the country are caused the breaking of lots human rights, compress and unjust. However, our constitution says that the citizens of our country have equal rights and have other human rights. In spite of it, people’s not knowing their rights and in other occasions they know but can’t use and demand their rights have been being caused offending the Uzbek people’s honor and dignity for 20 years.
In the point of this way every citizen of Uzbekistan must know the country’s Constitution well and obey all it’s laws not to be afraid to demand one’s human rights from the authorities. Local power and human right defense departments’ officials.
So, the aim of the following marathon “OSH” by the People’s Democratic Movement of “Birdamlik” devoting to the 20th anniversary of the adapting of the Constitution of Uzbekistan is to broad Constitution among the citizens and involve their attention to it more and propagandize the aims and the tasks of the main law of the country.
By this only aim all the citizens are invited to the following marathon “OSH” planning from the 1st to 10th of December, 2012 by the People’s Democratic Movement “Birdamlik”.
All peoples of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakistan, who live in viloyats, towns and villages and who are from 7 till 70 years old can take part in this marathon.
Demands to the participants:
It demands to wear white scarf or wear head clothes (scarf, scull-cap, or hat) the volunteers from the 1st until 10th December in streets, at work, or in front of official buildings to say disagree with unjust to the acting authorities and power. Actually, the white color is the symbol of fighting against the darkness and unjust. By this aim we wear the white color and fight against the dictator regime in Uzbekistan and we say disagree with it. Given the winter and cooling in Uzbekistan are not required to wear white clothes this time except to wear white scarves or wear white caps, scarfs, scull-caps, hats
It is planning following events on the marathon “OSH”:
1) photos competition;
2) On the 8th of December delivering the Constitution books of Uzbekistan to all the citizens in all towns and villages as presents by the activists of the movement.
3) Holding the competition “Do you know your Constitution?” at 12 o’clock on the holiday day on the square in opposite to Oloy market in the capital city.
A. So, the marathon is announced the photos competition.
The demands of the competition are following:
Volunteers who take part in this competition must wear white scarf or wear head clothes: scarf, scull-scarf, scull-cap or hat during 10 days from the 1st until 10th December: in streets, at home, at work, in the squares and parks, in Oloy market and must take their photos yourself or with friends or crowd of people. And they must send these photos to the competition judge by internet. For the 1, 2 and three 3 places will be awarded with the valuable money prize. And here we can open you a little secret: volunteers who can take photos near the administrative buildings or in the square in opposite to Oloy market with friends or crowd of people will have big chance to be winner. The deadline of the sending photos is 15th of December.
B. On the 8th of December, on the day of adapting the Constitution, the Constitution books of Uzbekistan will be delivered to the citizens of Uzbekistan in all towns and villages as presents by the activists of the People’s Democratic. Movement “Birdamlik”.
C. Solemnly part of the holiday will be held on the 8th of December from 12 to 14 o’clock in the square opposite to Oloy market in Tashkent city. We invite all the leaders of the movement in all viloyats, mass media and journalists and all the citizens of Uzbekistan and the leaders of the groups “Yoshlar qanoti”( youth waves), “ Tashabbuskor ayollar gurukhi’ (Active women’s group) to this holiday event. We are going to hold the competition “Do you know your constitution?” On this solemnly event. Volunteers who can give correct answers the questions according to the Constitution bills and their meanings will be winners and awarded valuable presents. Also it will be delivered the constitution books to all the people who will be gathered there by the activists of the movement.
One’s not paying attention to the Constitution is the carelessness of own life. Do you like to live in peace? Do you worry for yourself and for your child? Do you worry for our future? So join Us, to the People’s Democratic Movement “Birdamlik”. Hold the hands and let’s go to the marathon together! Let’s learn our Constitution carefully! Let’s have a capacity to demand our rights!
