Dear ladies and Gentlemen!
“Birdamlik’ People’s Democratic Movement (B.P.D M) was founded on the 10th April in 2004 in Uzbekistan. Movement’s brunches have been established in Uzbekistan and other tens countries for these years. On the base of B.P.D M program and regulation the strength activity has been put in all these brunches. There are more than three thousand members in our movement today.
As you know that BPDM has chosen none violent, peaceful way of fighting against the violent regime in Uzbekistan with the aim ending it. During our 9 years fighting against Karimov’s regime which is based on violence the members of BPDM only twice supplied our endeavoring applications to the small grant programs of NED organizations. But both times our supplements had failed. Besides of refusing NED we have used our inside finance possibilities for the fighting against the regime in Uzbekistan.
We radically continue supporting our movement’s peaceful way of fighting against Karimov’s regime based on illegality from own currency. Personally, I investigated about 131000 $ which I earned In the USA as have been being a policy immigrant since 2005 to the developing of BPDM activity. Actually, I’m only worker not businessman. I have no my own currency in bank. Some other members of movement also support financially our policy activities themselves like me.
Regretfully, today power is not equal. Dictator Karimov has, mainly, financed by western democratic countries and still financing great power and army. This violent regime can stack all kind of not agree demonstrations and make a new bloodshed action. And this regime is ready to use violence against own people to keep its power. Please, remember the bloodshed action in Andijon on the 13th of May in 2005 by the head of Karimov..!
I want to say, regretfully, today you are, who protect the democracy, not to be helpful to us, – world democratic opposition, It’s true, We must fight ourselves for our birthplace – our country of Uzbekistan, for its prosperity future .It’s our obligation to worry for it and we do it. Really, our main aim is to reach our country’s developing to the equal level of developed democratic countries. And on this sank way we want to see you as supporters on our shoulders but not to be observers.
Don’t you betray democracy being spectacles Instead of helping who are departing to the long way for protecting human rights, freedom, and liberty? Well, you can be helpless in finance, we agree. But we ask you to make more democracy Radio Liberty and Voice of America broadcasting programs which you are supporting financially. Can you do it? Temporary times in these radios which we called on the top it has been set full dictator regime but not democracy and pluralism. This our proclamation contents some prove materials about the dictator in Radio Liberty. We demand free mass media! Give us free media and to be winner in the fighting against Karimov’s dictator regime!
