Dear compatriots!
You know, we – the opposition are fighting with the Karimov regime as we can. Despite our best efforts, the Karimov regime, instead of the Constitution, laws, standards of humanity and justice, spit on all the democratic norms and increased repression. «President» Karimov constantly abusing power. He is not interested in the political, economic, social and cultural needs of over 30 million citizens of Uzbekistan. He used all his power for an unprecedented enrichment of his family. All free-thinking and freedom-fighters for justice and for the interests of the nation continually persecuted, imprisoned, destroyed mentally and physically. As a result, more than 8 million of our fellow citizens have been forced to seek shelter, employment and social protection in a foreign country. Karimov regime apologists assert that the Uzbeks live in peace and stability, but it is no secret to anyone that the Uzbek people are in great suffering to find a piece of bread and to solve immediate problems. You can not say that ordinary believers are imprisoned as «Hizb ut-Tahrir» and tortured the children for years to perform forced labor, which students from schools only three months a year see their schools, and the remaining nine months of working together with a dekhans rearing silkworms, in cotton works as okuchka, weeding and chasing cotton, they are all involved in droves to pick cotton, which human rights are violated in the country plagued by corruption and extortion. Do you think that a farmer with cracked heels and hands with corn did not want to be masters of their own products and sell it at a bargain price? Of course, he wants. Is the common people do not want to destroy corruption prevalent in schools and the promotion of their children through the ranks both knowledge and talents? Even as they want. You know that for several years the People’s Democratic Movement «Birdamlik» is a non-violent struggle against the dehumanizing of the Karimov regime. We think that this method of struggle for democracy for centuries-old traditions of our people and we think that it is time to take advantage of this method. You know that different methods of nonviolent struggle, and they should not be blindly copied from other countries. You know that the development of methods of nonviolent struggle is necessary to consider the mentality, religion, traditions, culture, quality of life, political views and experiences of each nation, the country and the state.
We, the activists of the Movement, in 2005, we think over the methods of nonviolent struggle, suitable for the conditions of Uzbekistan. We, the activists of the People’s Democratic Movement «Birdamlik» several times called on to apply the methods of nonviolent struggle, but you all know that strong action against arbitrary power does not work on the first try. One of these methods of nonviolent struggle was the organization of mass demonstrations by people in white robes. We think that most of you are well aware of this.
Last year and this year, hundreds of thousands of Russian opposition supporters took to the streets of Moscow and St. Petersburg with white ribbons. Birdamlik us who chose white as a symbol of expression of discontent is happy. See hundreds of thousands of people took to the white characters against the Putin regime. We have a desire to extend the process.
We know that at this time it is very difficult to organize in Uzbekistan, mass popular revolt against the Karimov regime, but if we unite, if we will make a contribution to this, sooner or later our streets will fleed with hundreds of thousands of demonstrators!
Politicians know that wily Karimov divided national movement «Birlik» in two parts, was able to loosen it. Inspired by this, he divided into three parts, «Erk» party. Worst of all, he was able to stir up against each other opposition leaders. As a result, he secretly managed cunning methods, opposition remains «without arms, legs and head.» A few members of the opposition who were not deceived, tricks «the father of the country» got hit on the head fitting. Opposition activists, left alone, were trampled till they could not climb. Countless open-minded people have been beaten, imprisoned, raped, intimidated, were destroyed mentally and physically. These crimes, unfortunately, are still pending.

How long will we be lonely participants, unequal struggle with inhuman Karimov regime has created? How long will we lose friends and associates? When will your program control methods with minimal losses? Is it not time to hold hands, to support each other, unite? After all, our people said, «In the unity of force.»
You know that the People’s Democratic Movement «Birdamlik» tried several times to hold an event called «OR» (pilaf), and are now looking for opportunities to do so. We know that osh (pilaf) pleasant word for Uzbeks. When we hear the word «oui»
(Pilaf), we have lit, a person awakens the appetite. It is linked to our thousand-year history and culture.
Pilaf served at weddings, in teahouses, homes and in many Uzbek events. Under the pretext of pilaf occur close, sincerely talk, exchange ideas, and relax. Yes, we – birdamlik tried to hold events such as the GS-Ommavy Shiko (mass appeal), GS-Oloyga shoshiling (Hurry on Alai), but could not gather enough people. We have not been able to bring you these shares, but our achievement is that we have been able to bring to the OR, the slogan of people.
